Marineford arc is the most famous arc in One Piece, as it is celebrated by anime fans as one of the greatest arcs in the history of all time.

The arc brings in new things that will become integral to subsequent arcs. Plus you won't understand what is going on in Whole Cake Island without Zou. So no, do not skip Zou.

The filler arcs within this saga are the Ocean's Dream Arc and Foxy's Return Arc.

Dressrosa was widely known as the longest anime arc in all of history until One Pieceset out to break its own record with the next arc in this list, the Wano arc.

That is at least in anime, as for manga, the Frieza saga in Dragon Ball is most likely the longest.

1 Wano Country Arc - Ongoing

The Wano Country arc is the longest one in the anime so far, with over 110 episodes already and the end being nowhere in sight. Like most One Piece arcs after the time skip, it suffers from pacing issues as well and, at times, draws the content from the manga out a little too much.

It's really up to you but you'd be skipping Dressrosa, Wholecake island, and Zou. Which all directly connect to the Wano arc. You'd get a lot less out of it if you skip ALL of those. There is no point skipping, watch all canon episodes.

Like many of the characters on this list, Shanks is not a traditional swordsman and he doesn`t seem familiar with a blade like Mihawk, but is believed to be stronger than Mihawk. Not a good idea, even though some arcs are boring, sadly you cannot skip because it will contain really important infos that will be leading to the plot.

Skipping it won't do any good because every arc in one piece has huge importance because oda links even small things in future so every episode/chapter is important for story. And don't think about dropping it yet. After thriller bark comes best arcs or rather trilogy of arcs which will keep you stuck to screen.

1 Wano (One Piece)

The current arc of the expansive, incredibly long anime/manga series is set to be the longest arc in anime history. The manga has 149 chapters just for the Wano arc. The anime arc has over 150 episodes so far and will continue to follow the canon events of the manga.

The villains were also particularly non-threatening, in both their designs and their fighting abilities. There was a dragon within the story, but again, none of it mattered since it was a filler arc.
