In-Depth Reviews
#1. Tower Fan with Remote, 46 Inch Oscillating Fan

- Electric fan design Floor Fan
- Power Source AC
- Room Type Office, Bedroom
This is a lightweight fan that’s easy to move from room to room. Yet the wide base makes is stable and safe to use even on my thicker carpet.
The remote makes using this convenient from across the room or in bed, but all the features are accessible from the top of the fan too (in case I misplace the remote). The oscillation is almost 90 degrees. It really sweeps across the air room, especially when it’s in a corner.
The LCD display is great. It takes all the guesswork out of knowing my speed, mode, and timer setting. The LCD can also be turned off completely with the sleep mode if you’re sensitive to light during sleep or watching a movie. It’s quiet and super powerful! The remote and changeable height is just an extra extra bonus to this incredible fan!
Pros: lightweight
Cons: Assembling the base of the fan is tricky.
#2. Tower Fan, 46″ Oscillating Powerful Bladeless Floor Fan with remote

- Included Components Remote
- Brand FHstars
- Mounting Type Tower Fan
Glad to get this fan in the summer days! It’s powerful enough to blow out lots of cool but gentle winds, and it operates incredibly quietly when I sleep at night in bedroom. What touched me more is the BABY MODE feature that blows soft wind and will naturally switch the wind speeds, bringing out coolness and comfort. It’s taller than I thought but really saves place since it takes up little place like a book. Remote control capability. This fan put out a lot of air to keep you cool and also oscillates as an air multiplier tower fan. It has many other features as well like a timer and different modes for the fan speeds.
This fan is absolutely, 100% hands down, incredible. The speeds on the fan are everything you’re looking for and more! I have my A/C running at a Cool 72 degrees and currently today, the high is 90* outside for the high.
Pros: Plenty of nice little modes and features
#3. Antarctic Star Tower Fan 360°Oscillating Fan Quiet Cooling 24H Timer Remote Control

- Brand Antarctic Star
- Mounting Type Tower Fan,Floor Mount,Freestanding
- Color Green
- Controller Type Remote Control
I have been using this fan for a few weeks and so far I am very pleased with it. It required minimal setup out of the box (just two pieces of the base and a couple of screws to secure the base to the fan.)
The remote control works well and takes a regular kind of battery (AAA, and I think it was included.) The most important buttons (on/off, speed) are in logical places about speed settings. The on/off button is in the very center of the remote—if I wake in the middle of the night and want to turn the fan off, it’s easy to find without having to fumble around. Apparently, the remote can also be stored nested on the control panel of the fan, which is a nice design feature, though I have not tried that yet since I usually keep the remote at my bedside.
The color is definitely a mint or light teal, which I was expecting from the pictures, though I realize now that the description says it is “green.” It is much more blue than green.
I like the variety of speed settings and oscillation settings. I wasn’t looking for a fan with a sleep mode, but I really like that mode-gentle breezes that gradually decrease in speed over the course of the night.
Pros: Portable, Bladeless, Oscillating
#4. Dreo Tower Fan for Bedroom, 90° Oscillating Fan

- Included Components Remote
- Brand Dreo
- Mounting Type Free Standing
- Indoor/Outdoor Usage Outdoor, Indoor
The white noise comes from the sound of the air circulation not The sound of a motor. There are a variety of speed settings including “natural” which creates a variable speed of air that mimics the pattern of real breezes. There is a night setting that slows
Down the fan speed through the night and turns off LED light. The velocity of the wind is very helpful when it gets hot. There is a timer that can be turned on and the buttons can be muted, which is a very nice feature when controlling the thing in the middle of the night.
I’m very happy with this fan, especially the quietness of the machine leaving the sound of the air.
This one is powerful enough for my little home and I really appreciate the oscillating action. I haven’t tried many of the bells are whistles, it’s really just on and off for me, but it’s great to have a remote (which does come with a battery) and I appreciate that it tells me the temperature of my room.
Pros: oscillating action
Cons: I don’t like how it will change the speed or pressure of the fan when put on sleep mode
#5. Tower Fan – 44’’ Oscillating Tower Fan with Remote Control

- Included Components Remote
- Brand Air Choice
- Mounting Type Tower Fan
- Indoor/Outdoor Usage Indoor
- Color White
The mini tower table fan is really good looking, and it is the least loud fan I have ever used. Even when not in sleep mode, it is very quiet. Sometimes I forget the fan is on. This design, I think, is very good. This fan has a total of three party strengths, as well as shake and set stop time. In addition, there is a heart rate function, which is really cool to me. I needed an air circulation fan for my quest room, I’m so happy that I bought this one. It’s so quiet and the breeze that comes out from this fan cool off the whole room. It is tall, easy to assemble. I usually use speed 2, it has 3 speeds. Bumped up AC due to rising cost. This fan blows cold air and has great force and airflow.
Pros: good looking, and it is the least loud fan
Cons: the wind is a little small
#6. PELONIS 40”Oscillating Tower Fan | Remote Control

- Electric fan design Floor Fan
- Power Source Corded Electric
- Special Feature Tower Fan
- Brand PELONIS
- Mounting Type Tower Fan
I usually read all reviews and think about a purchase for a few days prior to ordering. I wish I had ordered it sooner. The fan is quiet, doesn’t take up too much space and it has a remote control that is very easy to use. No more getting up to turn up or down the speed of the fan. There is only one thing to assemble…the bottom of the fan which just snaps on. To top it all off, the price is very reasonable.
The remote is definitely finicky. You have to point it right at the thing and press a button to wake it up. The fan itself is actually not quiet at all in my opinion even on the quietest speed. It just sounds like a fan blowing, no other strange noises.
Pros: quite
Cons: little high
#7. Tower Fan, Oscillating Quiet Cooling Fan Tower

- Included Components Remote
- Brand Aikoper
- Mounting Type Tower Fan,Freestanding
- Indoor/Outdoor Usage Indoor
- Color Black
My bedroom is kind of big and doesn’t have a ceiling fan, so I found myself having to turn the air temperature way down to stay cool without the circulation. I debated even trying a fan since I am such a light sleeper. I am a skeptic, I did my research, read the reviews, and decided to go with this air circulator tower fan for its rankings on being “quiet.” I must say I am beyond impressed. It has multiple settings, and they vary in the amount of sound. But the one I use for sleeping is quiet enough to not disturb my sleep. In fact, I’m sleeping better by not waking up in a night sweat! Im not saying this is the best fan in the world, but if you are looking for a quiet fan, look no further.
Only when it is turned to the strongest position can we hear the faint wind, and it will definitely not affect sleep. The fan can also turn at a 90 degree angle.
Pros: quite
Cons: short cable
#8. Antarctic Star Tower Fan Portable Electric Oscillating Fan

- Included Components Remote
- Brand Antarctic Star
- Mounting Type Tower Fan,Floor Mount,Freestanding
- Indoor/Outdoor Usage Indoor
- Color Black
It fits perfectly in the corner of my tiny, 12’x11′ ft area. The remote works perfect, I love having control over it night, without having to get up to change the settings.
The airflow has 3 very distinct levels. The low end is smooth and slightly audible. high is enough to move the wind chimes that are dangling from the ceiling on the opposite side of the room. With a timer and sleep mode, this fan will only disappoint those that may have received a damaged product, or those that can never be satisfied. The ambient temperature setting is also a treat!
Pros: smooth operation
#9. Tower Fan for Bedroom- 48” Oscillating Fan with Remote

- Included Components Remote
- Brand VEOHAUT
- Mounting Type Tower Fan
- Indoor/Outdoor Usage Indoor
- Color White
I liked this fan for a few reasons, I like that it has a digital temperature gauge that seems to be pretty accurate based on the other thermometers I have in my home. The remote is a nice feature to have as I get lazy and even though the fan is only a few feet from my bedside with the remote handy, I don’t have to get up. All in all, this was a smart investment and seems to be very well made. It is tall and slim and doesn’t take up much space, so I don’t mind. This tower fan is high enough to use when I am sleeping in the bed. Also the weight is light so it can be moved from room to room easily.
Pros: portable
#10. BLACK+DECKER Tower Fan Electric – Quiet Oscillating Stand Up Cooling Fan

- Included Components Product, manual
- Brand BLACK+DECKER
- Mounting Type Tower Fan,Freestanding
- Color Black
Rather than just moving warm air around the room like just about every other fan out there, this thing actually seems to be somehow putting out air noticeably cooler than the room it is sitting in. The fact is that the screen is large enough to pretty easily tell what setting it is on from across the room. The display is nice and bright. It will dim when you put it in sleep mode. I would recommend this fan if you need to keep an air room cool. The fan is tall, as displayed on the package, at 46 inches. The degree is also shown in fahrenheit.
Pros: screen is large
Cons: a bit wobbly
#11. Uthfy Oscillating Tower Fan with Remote, Electric Standing Tower Fan Floor Fan

- Brand Uthfy
- Mounting Type Floor Mount
- Indoor/Outdoor Usage Indoor
- Style Modern
I needed a quiet, yet effective oscillating fan to keep me cool and not require that I crank up my AC for one room of the house. This oscillating fan is fantastic. It doesn’t take up a huge footprint but puts out a great amount of cool air circulation at varying speeds and is easily controlled with the handy dandy remote that it came with.
The 3 screws were already attached to the bottom of the fan and just need to unscrew it before attaching the bottom base to it. The fan is really compact and can fit in small spaces. It is also shorter and skinnier than most oscillating tower fans so this is what I really wanted. It has really good and cold air flow even on the lowest fan speed setting.
Pros: effectively cooling
